A field was read wrong. Open the ID and tap Edit to correct it. Scanning in even light without glare reads best. On US and Canadian driver's licenses and ID cards, also scan the back: its barcode is the most reliable source.

Does ID Scanner check whether an ID is real? No. It stores and reads your own cards for your reference. It does not verify identity or detect fake IDs.

I can't unlock my IDs. Tap Unlock and use Face ID, Touch ID or your iPhone passcode. If your iPhone has no passcode, ID Scanner can't lock, and your IDs open directly; set a passcode in Settings > Face ID & Passcode to turn the lock on.

Where are my IDs stored? On your iPhone, inside ID Scanner. Deleting the app deletes them.

How do I restore ID Scanner Pro on a new iPhone? Open ID Scanner Pro from the More tab and tap Restore.

How do I cancel ID Scanner Pro? In Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then ID Scanner Pro.
